My approach is heavily influenced by my experience - I have lived life both as a consultant and as a client.  It is grounded in delivering practical counsel, committed to achieving tangible results, and innovative in taking how we think about and use competencies to the next level.  It is about strategies, opportunities, and creative solutions to problems.

After a rewarding career spanning more than twenty years with the same global professional services firm, I developed this competency-centric consulting practice to focus exclusively upon services:

• Yielding high IMPACT and sustained value to organizations and individuals.
  
• I provide with distinction as a recognized subject matter expert, and
  
• For which I have strong passion.

My experience reflects a blend of management consulting client service and progressive talent leadership roles culminating in Firm Directorship.

I served the last six years of my tenure as the National Director of Performance Management and OE with firmwide (population approx. 40,000) leadership responsibility for:

• Competency framework and model development
  
• Competency definition, development, deployment, and assessment
  
• Coaching as an integrated behavior
  
• Mentoring strategy - interviewed/quoted by USA Today and California CPA Magazine as a subject matter expert
  
• Counseling and feedback strategy
  
• Integration among the aforementioned and with Learning, Ethics, and Communications under the umbrella of Organizational Effectiveness.
  
• International and domestic rollouts of Behavioral Interviewing - featured in a Men's Wearhouse interviewing video as a subject matter expert
